Argentina Part 1

Our three-week vacation to Argentina was awesome! We saw everything from big cities to remote villages and ruins to mountains. We traveled with our good friends, Laura, Eric, and their two children, Mattias and Zoe. Laura grew up in Argentina as a missionary family and is fluent in Spanish-- thankfully! Her mother, Jaquie, still lives there and owns a beautiful piece of land in the country that she is renovating to start a bed and breakfast. Here is Alyce-Ann waiting in the international terminal at D/FW airport. She had a ball on the plane-- so many people to say "hi" to, so many little buttons to push. . .

We landed in Buenos Aires at 9:00 a.m. and hit the ground running. Alyce-Ann didn't know what to make of all the pigeons in one of the main plazas, but she certainly didn't want to miss feeding them corn!

One of our favorite parts of B.A. was LaBoca, a part of town known for its blue-collar lifestyle and being the home of the tango. We couldn't pass up this photo opp. with Zoe!
